If you're looking for a solid American proxy server, I’ve had good luck with Private Internet Access (PIA).
It’s cheap, fast, and they claim a no-logs policy. Not free, but worth the few bucks if you need reliability.
Avoid the free ones—they’re either slow or shady as hell.
