Hey, thanks everyone for the tips! I tried the DNS switch to Google’s (8.8.8.8) and it actually helped a bit. Still getting the error 408 sometimes, but less often.
Weirdly, it’s worse in the evenings—maybe my ISP is throttling like someone said. Gonna test with a VPN next.
Anyone know a good free VPN to try before committing to a paid one?
Also, my router’s pretty old, so that might be the next thing I replace. Appreciate all the advice!
