Wow, thanks for all the replies! Didn’t realize a proxy server address could do so much.

I tried HideMyAss like someone suggested, and it actually worked to access a geo-blocked site. Still kinda confused about the tech side, but at least I get the basics now.

One follow-up: Are free proxies safe, or should I stick to paid ones? Heard mixed things.
