So, I keep hearing about "whats curl" in tutorials and forums, but I’m still kinda confused. Like, is it a tool, a command, or something else?

From what I gather, it’s used to transfer data to and from servers, but I don’t really get *how* it works. Can someone break it down in simple terms?

Also, why is it so popular? Like, when would I actually use it instead of just clicking stuff in a browser?
