"Help! My API/Website Returns HTTP 405 - What’s Wrong?"
Hey folks,
So I’m hitting this annoying http error 405 - "Method Not Allowed" when trying to POST to my API. Like, the endpoint *should* accept POST, but nope—405 every time.
Checked the docs, double-checked the URL, even tried cURL... same error.
Anyone else run into this?
I’m guessing it’s a server config issue or maybe the endpoint just doesn’t allow POST? But whyyyy?
Quick things I’ve tried:
- Verified the HTTP method (yep, it’s POST).
- Checked CORS headers (looks fine).
- Tried GET (works, but I *need* POST).
Is there some sneaky server setting I’m missing? Or am I just doomed?
Thanks in advance—this is driving me nuts!
(Also, if you’ve got a fav troubleshooting tool for http error 405, lmk!)
