"IP version 4 and IP version 6: Which one’s better for modern networking?"
Hey guys, just curious—what’s the real deal with ip version 4 and ip version 6? IPv4’s been around forever, but everyone’s pushing IPv6 now.
Like, IPv6 has way more addresses (no more running out!), but is it *actually* faster or more secure? And why’s the switch taking so long?
Also, do y’all still use IPv4 or have you fully moved to IPv6? My ISP supports both, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle to switch completely.
Kinda feels like we’re stuck in between lol. What’s your take?
(Also, sorry for typos—typing on my phone 😅)
