yo, so i’ve been using PIA for a while now, and yeah, it *does* hide your IP. like, duh, that’s the whole point lol.
but fr, when you connect, your real IP gets swapped with one from their servers. so if you google "what is my ip address private internet access," it’ll show some random location (usually where the server is).
kinda wild how easy it is to spoof your location. tho, is it *really* private? well, PIA claims no logs, so... *shrug*.
anyone else notice their IP changes sometimes? or is it just me? 🤔
(also, pls don’t use this for sketchy stuff. vpns aren’t magic.)
