Is Using a Public Web Proxy Server Safe for Browsing Anonymously? or What Are the Best Public Web Pro

Wow, thanks for all the replies! I didn’t realize how risky public web proxy servers could be.

I think I’ll skip them and just go with a VPN like some of you suggested. NordVPN and ProtonVPN seem solid.

Quick question though—anyone know if free VPNs are any better than proxies? Or are they just as shady?
