"Does an ISP proxy actually hide your IP address effectively?"
Hey guys, so I’ve been reading up on isp proxies and how they’re supposed to help with privacy. But like… do they *really* hide your IP? Or is it just kinda masking it in a way that’s still traceable?
I get that they route your traffic through your ISP, but doesn’t that mean your ISP still knows it’s you? Or am I missing something?
Also, how does this compare to just using a VPN? Like, if I’m trying to stay low-key, is an isp proxy even worth it?
Kinda confused here, would love some real-world experiences or explanations. Thanks!
(Also, sorry for any typos, typing this on my phone lol)
