"Can an ISP Proxy Server Really Improve Your Online Security?"
Hey folks,
So I’ve been reading about isp proxy servers and how they’re supposed to boost privacy. But like… does it actually work? Or is it just another tech buzzword?
I get that it routes your traffic through your ISP’s server, but doesn’t that mean they can see *everything*? Kinda defeats the purpose, no?
Also, setup seems confusing af. Do I need special hardware, or can I just tweak my router settings? And what about speed—does it slow things down?
If anyone’s got experience with an isp proxy server, pls share! Is it worth the hassle, or should I stick to VPNs?
Thx in advance!
