Hey everyone,
So, I’ve been trying to set up a gmail proxy over thunderbird for a while now, but I’m hitting a wall. Has anyone here managed to get it working?
I’ve followed a couple of guides, but the settings just don’t seem to stick, or I get errors like “connection timed out.” Not sure if I’m missing something obvious or if it’s just Thunderbird being finicky.
Also, does the proxy setup affect IMAP/SMTP settings? Or do those stay the same? Kinda confused about how it all ties together.
If anyone’s got it working, could you share your config steps? Or maybe point me to a guide that actually works?
Thanks in advance! You’d be saving me from pulling my hair out lol.
Cheers!
