Title: *how do i turn off the proxy server? steps keep failing—any fixes?*
hey guys, i’ve been trying to disable my proxy server for ages but nothing’s working. followed a bunch of tutorials, but it either doesn’t save the changes or just re-enables itself??
i’m on windows 10 btw. went to settings > network > proxy and turned off the "use a proxy server" thing, but it’s still active somehow. even tried cmd stuff like `netsh winhttp reset proxy`—no luck.
anyone else dealt with this? maybe a registry tweak or something? or am i just missing a dumb step?
