What are syntax errors and why do they keep breaking my code? or Can someone explain what are syntax

"New to coding—what are syntax errors and how do I fix them?"

hey everyone! so i’m just starting out with coding, and *what are syntax errors* exactly??

like, i’ll be typing away, feeling like a genius, and then BAM—red squiggles everywhere. "SyntaxError: unexpected token" or whatever. why does this keep happening??

is it just me missing a semicolon or forgetting a bracket? or is there more to it?

also, any tips to avoid these? i swear my code looks fine until it suddenly doesn’t lol.
