"Why Should Businesses Consider Implementing a Proxy Firewall?"
Hey everyone! 👋 So, I’ve been reading up on network security, and I keep seeing *proxy firewall* pop up as a big deal. But like... why?
From what I gather, a proxy firewall doesn’t just block traffic—it actually *inspects* it at the application level. That means it can catch sneaky stuff traditional firewalls might miss, right?
Also, it hides your internal IPs, which seems pretty clutch for avoiding direct attacks. But is it really worth the extra setup?
Kinda curious if anyone here has switched to a proxy firewall and noticed a difference. Did it slow things down, or was it smooth sailing?
Thanks in advance for any insights! 🙏
(Also, sorry for any typos—typed this on my phone lol.)
