Bro, proxies can be a pain. Try this:

1. Open Control Panel > Internet Options
2. Go to Connections tab > LAN settings
3. Uncheck "Use a proxy server"

If it’s grayed out, your admin might’ve locked it. Might need to tweak registry (but be careful lol).
