"What's the best way to set up a reverse proxy server for improved security and performance?"
Hey folks! I'm kinda new to this whole reverse proxy server thing, but I keep hearing how it can boost security *and* speed.
Right now, I'm running a couple web apps on my home server, and I'm worried about exposing them directly. Would a reverse proxy server help with that?
Also, what's the easiest way to set one up? Heard good things about Nginx and Traefik, but not sure which one’s better for a beginner.
Oh, and does it handle SSL certs too? Cuz manually managing those is a pain lol.
