Can someone explain what does proxying mean in simple terms? or What does proxying mean and how does

Proxying is when another server pretends to be you online. It can hide your IP, bypass filters, or even cache stuff for speed.

But be careful—some free proxies sell your data.

If you’re just starting, Windscribe (free tier) is a good intro to proxy/VPN stuff.

Wow, thanks everyone! This makes way more sense now. Didn’t realize there were so many types of proxies.

Gonna try KProxy first since it seems easiest. Quick Q though—how do I know if a proxy is logging my data? Are there any red flags to watch for?

Appreciate the help! 🙌
