"Can I IP Ban on Discord? Server Mods Need to Know This"
hey guys, quick question—can i ip ban on discord? like, if someone’s being a total troll or keeps making alts to evade bans, is that an option?
i know regular bans are easy, but ip bans seem like they’d be more effective. does discord even let mods do that? or is it just a myth?
also, if it *is* possible, how does it work? do i need special perms or is it a server setting? and tbh, is it even worth it? i’ve heard vpns can bypass it anyway.
anyone got experience with this? would love some real answers before i go digging through discord’s docs lol.
