Hey guys, so I’ve been messing around with a fake ip address lately, mostly to watch geo-blocked stuff lol. But like… does it *actually* hide your location? Or is it just a temporary fix?
I’ve heard mixed things—some say it’s solid for privacy, others claim it’s sketchy af. Plus, won’t sites like Netflix or banks detect it?
Also, what’s the deal with VPNs vs proxies vs just straight-up faking your ip? Lowkey confused.
