Kinda surprised no one’s mentioned Tails OS yet. If you *really* wanna fake an ip address and leave no traces, boot from a USB with Tails. It routes everything through Tor automatically.
VPNs are easier tho. I’d recommend Private Internet Access (PIA)—they’ve been around forever and don’t keep logs.
But yeah, no method is 100% undetectable. Just depends how much effort you wanna put in.
