How to properly send curl post data with headers and parameters? or What's the best way to format cur

Title: "Why is my curl post data not being received by the server?"

Hey everyone,

I’ve been banging my head against the wall trying to send curl post data to a REST API, but the server keeps acting like it’s not getting anything.

Here’s what I’m using:
```bash
curl -X POST https://example.com/api -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"key":"value"}'
```
The headers seem right, and the JSON looks valid... but nada.

Am I missing something obvious? Maybe the quotes or escaping? Or is there a sneaky flag I need?

Also, if anyone has clean examples of curl post data with auth headers, that’d be clutch.

Thanks in advance!
