Which is better for my needs: static vs dynamic IP? or Static vs dynamic IP – what are the pros and c

Honestly, for home use, dynamic IP is totally fine unless you're hosting servers or need remote access a lot.

Static IPs are overkill if you're just streaming or gaming casually. Plus, most ISPs charge extra for static.

If you're worried about drops, try a dynamic DNS service like No-IP or DynDNS. Free options work great for most people.

Gaming doesn’t even need static IP these days—matchmaking handles it. Save your cash!
