"Does a Proxy Server Really Improve YouTube Streaming Speeds?"
Hey guys, been wondering if using a proxy server youtube actually helps with buffering issues? My internet’s kinda trash, and I’ve heard some folks say a proxy can speed things up.
But like... does it *really* work? Or is it just placebo? I tried a free one once, and it felt slower lol. Maybe I just picked a bad one?
Also, does it mess with video quality? Don’t wanna end up watching pixelated 144p vids just ‘cause I’m routing through some random server.
If anyone’s got experience with this, lmk! Especially if you’ve found a solid proxy server youtube setup that doesn’t suck.
