Thanks for all the suggestions, folks! Tried a couple of the thepirate bay proxy links shared here, and piratebayproxy.info actually loaded (for once).

Still getting some ads, but uBlock Origin helped. Might give Tor a shot too—didn’t realize TPB had an .onion address.

Anyone know if the .onion site has the same content as the main one?
