Static ip vs dynamic ip is like buying a sports car vs a sedan. One’s fancy but overkill unless you’re racing.
For 99% of home users, dynamic is fine. The "hiccups" you hear about are super rare. My IP hasn’t changed in months, and I’m on dynamic.
