"Why Isn’t the ip renew command Working for Me?"
Hey guys, so I’ve been having some weird network issues and tried using the ip renew command to fix it. Ran it in CMD as admin, but nada—still stuck with the same IP.
Anyone else run into this? I did the usual ipconfig /release first, then ipconfig /renew, but it’s like my PC just ignores it.
Maybe my router’s being stubborn? Or could it be a DHCP thing?
Also, is there a *right* way to use the ip renew command? Like, timing or something?
Quick side note: does this even work for WiFi, or just Ethernet?
