Honestly, ip renew is more of a band-aid than a cure. It might fix temporary glitches, but if you’re having constant drops, there’s probably something else going on.
I’d recommend running a continuous ping (*ping -t* in CMD) to see if packets are dropping. Also, check if your ISP’s DHCP lease time is too short—some routers freak out if it’s set weirdly low.
For a better fix, maybe look into static IP or even a different DNS like Cloudflare (1.1.1.1).
