How Do I Use the ip renew Command to Refresh My Network Connection? or What’s the Correct Way to Run

Yo, router firmware could be the culprit. Mine was outdated and just refused to play nice with the ip renew command.

Check for updates or just factory reset the thing. Pain in the butt, but it fixed my issue.

Also, some ISPs use MAC binding—so renewing might not change your external IP.
