Proxy Server vs VPN – What’s the Real Difference and Which Is Right for You?
Hey everyone!
So, I’ve been digging into the whole *proxy server vs vpn* debate, and tbh, it’s kinda confusing. Both hide your IP, but they’re not the same.
A proxy server is like a middleman for your web traffic—good for quick stuff like bypassing geo-blocks. But it doesn’t encrypt your data, so… not great for privacy.
A VPN, on the other hand, encrypts *everything*. Way better for security, but sometimes slower.
So, which one? If you just wanna watch a show, maybe a proxy. But if you’re serious about privacy, VPN all the way.
What’s your take? Anyone got experiences with either?
(Also, sorry for any typos—typed this on my phone lol.)
