Which is better for privacy and speed: proxy or VPN? or Proxy or VPN – what’s the best choice for sec

OP here—thanks for all the replies! sounds like VPN is the way to go for real privacy.

i tried expressvpn and it’s working great so far. no more ISP throttling when i stream, which is awesome.

one more q: do you guys use any extra tools with your VPN, like ad blockers? or is the VPN enough?
