Had this exact issue! Error code 1020 drove me nuts until I found out my dynamic IP was previously used by a spammer.

Switching to a VPN (like ProtonVPN) worked, but YMMV.

Also, check if the site has a Cloudflare challenge page—sometimes reloading a bunch triggers it.
