"why do accounts get flagged for suspicious activity discord? what triggers it?"
hey y’all, so i’ve seen a bunch of ppl getting hit with the "suspicious activity" warning on discord lately, and it’s kinda confusing. like, what even triggers it?
from what i’ve gathered, discord’s system flags stuff like:
- logging in from a new device/location super suddenly
- spamming messages or joining too many servers at once
- using bots or scripts that break tos
- getting mass-reported (even if it’s false)
also, if your account’s new or looks "bot-like" (no pfp, weird name, etc), it might get flagged easier.
anyone else run into this? or know how to avoid it? sometimes it feels like discord’s system is *too* sensitive lol.
