Wow, thanks so much for all the suggestions, everyone! I tried switching to `requests-toolbelt` like someone mentioned, and it’s working way better so far. Still running into a few hiccups with some older libs, but it’s progress!
Also, that GitHub repo and Stack Overflow thread were super helpful. I’ll definitely check out `httplib2` and `treq` if I hit another wall.
