Ugh, same here! Been getting "why is my facebook saying session expired" all day.
I read somewhere that it might be a cookie issue. Try logging in from a browser (not the app) and check "keep me logged in."
Also, maybe check if your phone’s date/time is set to auto. Weird fix, but it’s worked for me before.
If that doesn’t help, FB might just be having a moment lol.
