Opaque is great if you’re hiding clutter (like my messy collection of cables lol), but transparent acrylic *does* look super modern.
For scratches, yeah, acrylic can get scuffed, but a little polish like Novus #2 (found it on Amazon) works wonders. Polycarbonate is tougher but pricier.
Outdoors? Opaque holds up better long-term unless you get UV-resistant polycarbonate.
