What's the Difference Between Public IP vs Private IP Range? Need Clarification! or Public IP vs Priv

I tried `ipconfig` and saw my private IP (192.168.1.x), then compared it to my public IP on [whatismyip.com](https://whatismyip.com). Mind blown.

Follow-up Q: Does IPv6 make private ip ranges less important? Heard it’s got way more addresses.
