JSON vs CSV: Which One Should You Use for Your Data Needs? or JSON vs CSV: What Are the Key Differenc

CSV is king for flat data, hands down. If you're dealing with spreadsheets or simple tables, it's way easier to read and edit. JSON gets messy with big datasets since it's all brackets and quotes.

But for nested or hierarchical data? JSON wins every time. Try storing a list of users with addresses in CSV—it's a nightmare. JSON handles it cleanly.

Tools? Use `pandas` in Python for CSV and `jq` for JSON if you're working in the terminal. Both have great docs online.

And yeah, JSON is usually heavier because of all the syntax, but compression helps.
