curl ip.cc is quick, but have you tried `wget -qO- ifconfig.co`?

It’s similarly fast and has a cleaner output imo.

The speed probably comes from minimal processing—just spit out the IP and nothing else.

If you’re scripting, curl ip.cc is still king for simplicity tho.
