Oh yeah, is ipv4 private ip is still totally a thing! IPv6 is growing, but most home networks and small offices still rely on those classic 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x ranges.
They’re not going anywhere soon because NAT (Network Address Translation) still depends on them. Like, your router uses a private IP internally and then maps it to a public one for the internet.
