Title: Is a Public Proxy Server for Privacy Really Safe to Use?
Hey guys, been thinking about using a public proxy server for privacy lately... but idk, seems kinda sketch?
Like, yeah it hides your IP and all, but how do u even know who’s running it? Could be logging everything u do lol.
And some of em are *super* slow or just stop working randomly. Annoying af.
Anyone got experience with these? Are they worth it or just a false sense of security?
(Also, pls don’t say "just use a VPN" – I know, but curious about public proxies specifically.)
