lol public proxies are sketchy af. I tried a few and half of them didn’t even work.

Plus, some are straight-up honeypots—set up to steal your info. If you’re serious about privacy, avoid free stuff.

Maybe check out ProtonVPN’s free tier? It’s not a public proxy server for privacy, but at least it’s trustworthy.
