How can I set up my own proxy with YouTube to bypass restrictions? or Is it possible to set up my own

I tried Windscribe’s free tier like a few of you suggested, and it worked for the vids I wanted—so maybe I’ll stick with that for now.

The DIY proxy stuff sounds fun but way over my head lol. Maybe someday when I’m bored.

Quick Q tho: anyone know if YT *actually* bans for this, or just blocks the IP? Don’t wanna lose my account.
