"Can a Traffic Bot Actually Hurt Your Site Instead of Helping?"
Hey guys, been seeing a lotta talk about using a traffic bot to pump up website numbers. Sounds tempting, right? But I’m lowkey worried it might backfire.
Like, sure, your stats *look* better, but if the traffic bot sends fake visits, doesn’t that mess with your bounce rate? And what if Google catches on? Heard they can penalize sites for sketchy traffic.
Also, does a traffic bot even bring *real* engagement? Cuz if visitors ain’t clicking or staying, what’s the point? Might even hurt your rep if advertisers or partners notice something’s off.
Anyone got experience with this? Did a traffic bot work for you, or did it cause more problems than it solved?
Kinda torn between quick gains and long-term risks. Thoughts?
