Has Anyone Else Noticed the Unique Behavior of Geelarks in Their Area?

Wow, thanks for all the insights, everyone! I had no idea geelarks were such complex little birds. I downloaded the Merlin Bird ID app like someone suggested, and it’s been super helpful in identifying their calls.

I also checked out the Cornell Lab of Ornithology site, and it’s packed with info. Turns out, the mimicking is totally normal for geelarks—they’re just showing off, I guess!

Has anyone else noticed if geelarks are more active during certain seasons? I’m curious if this behavior changes throughout the year. Thanks again, y’all!
