DDNS is a solid free alternative, but if you need 100% uptime, static IP is the move. My ISP (Frontier) charges $12/month, and it’s been flawless for my home lab.
Also, check out services like PureVPN or TorGuard for dedicated IPs—sometimes cheaper than ISPs. Just google "can i purchase a static ip address" and compare options.
Avoid random resellers though. Stick with big names unless you wanna risk getting blacklisted.
