Honestly, proxies are kinda meh for real anonymity. They’re better for bypassing geo-blocks than hiding your identity.

If you’re just trying to stay private, a VPN + Tor combo is way stronger. But if you’re stuck on proxies, at least use a trusted one like Private Internet Access and enable DNS leak protection.

Also, clear your cookies regularly and use a separate browser profile. Otherwise, you’re still leaving breadcrumbs.
