Are Open Proxy Servers Still Reliable for Privacy and Security? or How Risky Is It to Use an Open Pro

Used an open proxy for a school project once. Speed was awful, and halfway through, the connection started injecting ads.

Not exactly "anonymous" when someone’s tampering with your traffic.

These days, I just use Tailscale for secure access. Way more reliable.
