What is the use of a proxy server on Kodi, and do I really need one?

If you’re just streaming local stuff, you don’t need a proxy server on Kodi. But if you’re into international content or want to stay anonymous, it’s worth it.

I’d recommend CyberGhost VPN. It’s super easy to use and has a built-in proxy feature.
