"Need Help: How to Block an IP on My Router?"

Hey guys, I’m trying to block ip on my router but it’s not working?? I added the IP to the blacklist, but somehow it’s still getting through. Am I missing something?

My router’s a basic Netgear one, and I followed the steps in the manual. But idk, maybe I messed up?

Also, does blocking ip actually stop all traffic from that address, or just certain types? Like, can they still ping me or something?

If anyone’s got tips or knows a better way to block ip effectively, pls share! Maybe I need to tweak firewall settings too?
