I'm trying to configure proxy server settings on my Windows machine for better privacy and maybe a lil' speed boost. But tbh, I'm kinda lost.

Anyone got a simple guide or tips on how to configure proxy server properly? Like, should I use manual settings or a script? And what about authentication stuff?

Also, if you've got recommendations for reliable proxy servers, that'd be awesome.
